Return Policy

NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER ORDERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE THROUGH JANUARY 31.

Returns
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase.   You can return any new, undamaged and unworn (except for trying it on for size) clothing with original tags still attached for any reason within 30 days of receipt of your purchase.   

If you want a cash/credit card refund of your purchase price less shipping charges, there will be a $10.00 return shipping fee for USA Customers Only.  If you want store credit to apply to any future purchases, including an exchange, we will pay the return shipping for USA Customers Only.  Non-USA Customers, see below.   Note that we may waive the $10.00 return shipping fee for special situations.  Please email hello@thumbunited.com if you feel your fee should be waived.

All products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects provided you notify us within 14 days of receipt of such a defect.  For products being returned from a USA location, we will pay for return shipping, and upon verification of the defect, we will send a replacement item.   If we believe the item is not defective, we will contact you to discuss the reason you felt it was defective.   

For products being returned from non-USA locations, the customer is responsible for all return shipping charges.   Refund or Store Credit will be issued upon receipt of verified return.

To complete your return, please follow these simple steps. 

Visit our returns portal:  https://thumbunited.com/a/returns.  You will need your order number and the email address used to place your order.   Return Authorization is valid for 14 days.  Returns sent after 14 days will be refused.

Any returned packages received without a valid RMA or order numbers on the package may be refused or there may be a significant delay in processing.  Unidentified packages become the sole property of Thumb United.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  Shipping charges are not refundable.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days.

Exchanges
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.  Shipping charges are not refundable.   
If you are approved, then your exchange order will be processed and the replacement item shipped out as quick as possible, usually within 2-3 days.   (Komen Edition products take longer)

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at returns@thumbunited.com.

Gifts 
All refunds, store credits, and exchanges will be sent to the original purchasers email and/or shipping address.  We are unable to redirect any shipments without verified instructions from the original purchaser. 

Shipping 
To return your product, please follow the instructions above.  DO NOT MAIL PRODUCTS TO US WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund as described above.

If you choose to mail an item to us at your expense, you should consider using a trackable shipping service such as USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground.  You should also consider purchasing applicable shipping insurance to cover the full cost of the item. We are not responsible for such items lost or damaged in shipping.
